WALKERVILLE PRE-KINDY HAS BEEN OPERATING FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND
NOW OWNED AND OPERATED BY ANGIE BURFORD.
Walkerville Pre-Kindy is fortunate to be licensed by the Department of Children Services for a maximum of 30 children between the ages of 2 to 5 years of age. We believe this is the right number of children for social interaction at the early years before Kindergarten and School.
Walkerville Pre-Kindy aim to provide an engaging environment where children feel safe and secure. This is a place where we prepare them for all the new challenges which come along with Kindergarten and School.

Planting & Growing, Animals & Insects, Environmental Awareness, Weather and Seasons and Pets
Curriculum
Our Curriculum reflects our commitment to the National Curriculum “Being, Belonging and Becoming” and to plan for children to achieve the following five learning outcomes which are identified in the EARLY YEAR LEARNING FRAMEWORK.
Children have a strong sense of identity
Children are connected with and contribute to their world
Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
Children are confident and involved learners
Children are effective communicators
We believe in allowing children to explore and discover new ideas and have the opportunity to choose from a broad range of activities. By carefully observing the children and discovering their interests and developmental needs, we are able to plan a flexible and responsive program to best achieve the five outcomes.
